THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

I create the website for your approval. Clients (you) are editor in chief. This allows you to do your job while I develop the website. My process allows you to be more productive while your new website is built.

What is the goal of your website? Over a conversation we will identify what your goals are for your website. Most of my clients are looking to improve their old website or they are building a site for the first time. In either case I will help you figure out what you need for your company. I’ll do this whether or not we do business together.

Upon the gathering of the critical information needed to build your website I will submit to you a plan of action. Once this plan is approved I will send you a proposal with the exact cost to build you a new website.

Once I have accurately detailed your requirements and agreed to a budget I will then create a look and feel for your site. In most cases the initial look and feel I present will be a homerun!

Deliverables at this phase:

• Website home page mock up.
• Approval of the look and feel.

Once we have agreed to a design look I will begin the Development Phase. During this phase, you will have little involvement; I’ll be doing the work. I will design your site, create imagery where needed, navigation, forms, buttons and other graphics.

Once development of the site is near completion, I will take you through the site and ask that you and your stakeholders and/or quality assurance team browse the site to make sure it functions the way it should and that it contains all the content that it should. I will make required changes and provide you a new iteration which will be reviewed again. We will continue refinement until you are satisfied with your site.

I can host your website on the server I lease from a leading provider in web hosting servers. Or we can use your web host.
