To me the exact price is the final price agreed upon to create a website before the work has begun. I’ve been creating websites for big companies like Lure Parts Online and New Mech and small companies like Dahlmeier Construction and Liberty Financial. Each of the companies knew their exact price before I started the work and each paid exactly that amount.

The reason I bring this up is many vendors will give a range in the manner of the price a service will not exceed X. And others still bid projects in sections, hours and alterations. I’ve been designing and developing websites for over 20 years and I have the experience to know what the final price is before I start. After all I want to know the final price when I buy a product or service. This includes alterations or editing if you will. It also includes after launch edits that will certainly arise within the first 30 days of launch. I can say this because I’ve been doing business this way since I started in web designing.

The process starts with a phone call or meeting to discuss the needs and priorities of the website. I then provide a website plan. Plans include: The domain name, pages, goals, who, what and where is the content generated, email accounts, hosting and more. The plan is modified until we get the plan right. Upon approval of the website design plan I send a proposal to build the website base on that plan.
